- Proven previous experience in a similar role
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other common types of systems
- Developed experience of tools and test devices and appliances
- Full UK Driving Licence
Marches Biogas is looking to find a Maintenance Engineer to assist with the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance and functionality requirements of operating anaerobic digesters throughout the UK. Marches has employees that have been at the cutting edge of this renewable and green technology for over 25 years and have a small, but highly developed team of industry experts who are able to provide mechanical, operational, and biological support to AD facilities. We are looking for multi-skilled engineers with electrical or mechanical bias. Marches Biogas is committed to the continued development and appropriate training of all our employees with specific training for tasks such as working at height, using breathing apparatus and working within confined spaces. The role will involve carrying out maintenance tasks on anaerobic digestion plants throughout the UK therefore a full UK driving licence is essential for the role. You will be carrying out service and repairs as well as fault finding on equipment throughout the AD facility. Previous maintenance experience of this type of work is required so that candidate can start working as quickly as possible.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend emergency callouts and work on a rota basis covering weekends and evenings.
