Most people acknowledge that it’s difficult to evaluate the value of training, how do you know when you send people to be ‘trained’ that it adds value? It’s always difficult to truly quantify the value gained. There are the obvious soft benefits of people feeling that the manager cares enough about the team to not only have them absent to do the training but also pay for the privilege as well!

At Marches we understand that it is a challenge for most businesses to have staff away, so when they are away, we know that the training needs to be focused, fun and involving. It’s no good having the trainees not fully engaged with the process, sitting in a dreary room counting down the minutes till they can go home.

That’s why at Marches we spend so much time setting the learning objectives which set’s the agenda and focus for the training.  From this we can then develop the training and ensure that the content is straight forward and in a relatable framework so everyone from operators to senior managers can take part in the programme to achieve ‘lightbulb’ moments that add real value to the operations back on the plant. We always ask for honest feedback to ensure we continually improve the delivery of our training which we have presented to a wide range of clients from multinational companies, small scale operators all the way to regulators!

So, if you want your team to get all the benefits of great training just ask Lucy Lewis at Marches and she will be delighted to put a tailored plan together!
